The celebration of the 500th anniversary of the first diocese in the mainland of America and the South Sea discovery this year marked the life of Panama.

The theme of the South Sea discovery is controversial. Out of this controversy, the event affected the lives of Panama.

It opens a way for much larger dimensions.

Focusing on is experience can understand the phenomenon of globalization.

The fact of the discovery brought consequences for the world.

The church from the beginning has innovated and transformed life in the minds of people.

Faith was embraced by the rule among the evangelists and the constant questioning of the natural population of this earth about its existence and its new reality.

It creates a new culture and a new way of living. New cities and new realities, which reflect a new mindset. The work of the missionaries, often under-recognized, open new opportunities for the application of new thinking.

Mention was made of the Renaissance and the influence of the thought of St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, medieval philosophy illuminating.

Universities were born in the bosom of the church collect and magnify this thought.

The school of Salamanca framework, without coming to america, thought and social change in the new world.

This school begins a journey that no prior research had. Especially in the ethical and positive law. For example, the right to property and common law in the light of natural law.

One of the main issues was whether the Indian was a person, which threw down the concept of slavery and the different category of people.

Viajes: Hay muchas líneas aéreas y muchas posibilidades de viajar a Panamá. COPA, con sede en la ciudad de Panamá, es la mejor aerolínea para llegar desde cualquier lugar de América Latina incluyendo el Caribe. Desde Oceanía, Asia, el Pacífico y el Oriente Medio se puede viajar a través de Europa o América del Norte. Desde Europa se puede viajar directamente o a través de América del Norte. De África la mejor opción es viajar a través de América Latina o Europa. De cualquier otra parte del mundo se puede viajar a Panamá con facilidad.

Hoteles: Es muy fácil reservar hoteles por internet. Una proposición: El Panama Hotel. Otros precios en los hoteles 3 y 4 estrellas :  El alojamiento en habitación doble puede conseguirse por US$30 a US$70 diarios por persona, según el hotel.  Para la habitación triple los precios oscilan entre US$22 a US$41 diarios por persona para noche.

Alojamiento a bajo costo para asistir al Congreso de Prensa ICOM 2013

Estimados amigos periodistas que desean venir al Congreso Mundial de Prensa y Medios en Panamá ICOM 2013, les adjuntamos un cuadro con los precios de las habitaciones que hemos negociado para ustedes, con los hoteles cercanos al hotel sede del Congreso.  El Comité Organizador ha decidido reconocer parte de la cuota de inscripción para ser utilizada en el pago del alojamiento en los hoteles que incluimos en la lista adjunta.  De acuerdo a la preferencia de cada uno, el valor de la cuota de inscripción puede cubrir de manera parcial o total el costo de alojamiento.

En el caso de optar por habitación doble o triple, el valor de la exoneración de la cuota de inscripción puede cubrir en su totalidad el pago del alojamiento, salvo el hospedaje en el hotel sede que se cubriría en un 90%.  Los hoteles seleccionados son de muy buena categoría y están vecinos al sitio del Congreso. The furthest is about 3 blocks and most are only one block in the street behind the hotel headquarters.
